According to the documents, Fraser was verbally abusive and sexually inappropriate on the set of the series, particularly when it came to female staffers and guests on the show. "He has been an amazing friend to all of us here at Hallmark Channel—the cast, the crew—and a wonderful friend to all of you at home, as well," she continued.

Steines’ lawsuit said that he passed along complaints from cast and crew to executives, including a photo showing an instance of harassment. Instead of airing Monday through Friday for two hours each day, from 10 a.m. Eastern, the series was set to begin airing only three days a week, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. It is only airing for one hour each day instead of two hours, from 10 a.m. Now it appears this new schedule is only lasting until August 4, when the show will end.

Today, co-host Mark Steines made a quick announcement that Ferrare had left the show and that Matenopoulos would be replacing her, effective immediately. Deadline reported receiving the same statement from Hallmark about the cancelation, as did other media outlets. The Hallmark Channel did not give a reason for the show’s cancelation. I think the hosts are genuine and the whole staff seem to genuinely like one another.
What’s Replacing ‘Home & Family’ on Hallmark After the Show’s Cancelation?

"With the current information regarding COVID-19 in Southern California, and in keeping with SAG/AFTRA recommendations, we are suspending production on our daytime series, Home & Family," the tweet read.
"I’m here to share some news, and the family has joined me because we truly are a family, and while we just had a really great show, we have a very hard announcement to deliver," Matenopoulos said. "Our dear friend, our very good friend, and my wonderful co-host for years, Mr. Mark Steines, is no longer with Home & Family." The sudden turn of events has left fans of the show stunned and seeking answers, to say the least. "What?! Why?! @MarkSteines is an integral member of the show," commented one Twitter user.
